We've used PAWS for over a year now, and Phil has been great with our 3 cats. He has gained their trust, even the skittish one, and gives them some cuddles in addition to feeding them and taking care of their litter (and even cleaning up some "accidents" here and there). He even sends us daily texts with photos of the cats to let us know how they are doing, and to show that he's at the house taking care of them. He's always been reliable, and his online scheduling system through his website makes booking services really easy. He's always responsive to emails and requests to schedule service. He's been available over the holidays so we don't have to worry about leaving our kitties over Christmas. Of course, the charge for visits on holidays is slightly more, but not super expensive, especially considering he's coming to take care of the cats ON Christmas Day. Phil genuinely seems to like the animals he's taking care of. We are glad to have found him! We would recommend to him to anyone looking for a pet sitter for their furry, feathered, or scaled friends!

Phil and his assistant are simply amazing!! My son and his fianc were married on Nov. 4, 2017 and wanted their 5 dogs in the ceremony. I have a cocker spaniel and a golden doodle and Phil Slater does such a good job with them! He's helped me a few times when I've gone out of town and I know that my dogs are in really good hands with PAWS. He takes them on walks and even plays fetch with them, I'm worried they'll start liking him more than me!

Phil has been an absolutely delight for not only us but our three very different cats. Our first meeting was very easy, and Phil asked all the important questions and appeared to take a lot of notes. Better yet, two of our three cats took to him very quickly. Once our first vacation came up, Phil confirmed the dates ahead of time and it everything went so smoothly. He updated us every visit with a picture or two of our cats and let us know how everyone was. Not only that put he took care of our mail and secured our home after every visit. After our second vacation this summer, Phil was able to finally win over our most temperamental cat, which was very impressive. It was wonderful knowing our cats were getting all the TLC they needed and our home was being looked after while we were away. There is even an online scheduling service that allows to you schedule time and update information on your home and pets, that way Phil never misses a beat. This is an amazing service and I HIGHLY recommend PAWS to everyone I know.

We were pleasantly surprised with PAWS and Phil's fantastic service. He was recommended by our usual petsitter (wasn't able to accommodate us at that time). Clich as it sounds, but things happen for a reason- we met Phil and was blown away by the quality of care our Major, a 16 yr. old greyhound, received from him.

His rates are reasonable too! The daily pictures of Major gave us peace of mind that he was well taken care of.

Phil is the best. He has watched our dog on multiple occasions and always done an amazing job. Our dog can be a little particular about who he likes but he loves Phil and that is saying something. He is a true animal lover and it really shows in his passion and dedication. Now that he has moved away from NJ, I know I'll be hard pressed to find someone to replace him and his service. You won't be disappointed, I promise!

Phil is fantastic! He has several animals of his own, and he brings the care and attention that he provides his own animals to the animals in his charge. I know that when Phil watches or walks my dogs that when I get home I will find two happy pups.

He's a true professional and he knows pet cpr and first aid so I know my four legged kids are in great hands.
